Hearl finds real sources and drafts a series of titled episodes, each with its sources. Steer it before anything is voiced: deeper, simpler, more stories.

Voice one episode or all of them. Listen with your phone locked, control it from the lock screen, or download it for the plane.

Add episodes, take a deep dive into a side road, or say the level was off. A series ends when you stop.
Built to binge
Every episode ends on a question.
The next episode answers it. You always know why you'd press play again, and the last episode in your plan ends on a question that invites more.
Episodes run 5, 10, 15 or 20 minutes, as a single narrator or as two hosts talking it through, pitched at the level you choose.

Is Hearl free?
Every account can listen to the five free series and plan one series of its own, with research, sources and steering. Voicing your own episodes uses minutes from a Curious Mind or Pro Scholar membership, or from a minute pack. See pricing.
What does a minute buy?
One minute of voiced audio. A 10-minute episode uses 10 minutes, whether it has one narrator or two hosts. If voicing fails or you cancel it, the minutes come back.
Why do I need to sign in?
Your minutes, library, listening progress, downloads and free series belong to your account, so they are kept safely on our servers and restored when you sign in again. You can sign in with Apple, Google or an email address.
What can I add as a source?
Web pages, PDFs, Word documents, plain text and Markdown files, or text you paste in, up to 10 per series. Some sites can't be used, such as pages behind a login or paywall, social networks and video sites. If a source can't be read, the plan goes ahead with the rest.
Is my material used to train AI?
No. Hearl uses Google's Gemini API on paid terms, under which Google does not use what we send to improve its products. We have no ads and no trackers. Read the Privacy Policy for the details.
Which devices does it work on?
Hearl is an iPhone app. Audio keeps playing in the background, with lock-screen and Control Center controls.
